Spooky Halloween Drinks - Non Alcoholic Red Cocktails
Although I call them spooky, I can assure you that there are no spooky ingredients in these cocktails. No real blood, wolfbane, spider, bat's ear wax or anything of that sort. But you can pretend they are spooky Halloween drinks due to their vivid red color that will go really well with your bloody Halloween party theme. All these red drink recipes are non alcoholic and very refreshing. They are the kinds of cocktails that both children and adults will enjoy.
Bloody Yummy Mary Recipe
I like this recipe of mine much better than the original Bloody Mary, which I think is too spicy. Serve this cocktail in a clear glass to show off its fiery color. Traditionally, a Bloody Mary is served with a celery rib as a swizzle stick. If you want it to look more creative, however, you may try using other kinds of vegetables such as an asparagus stalk or a green bean instead.
Ingredients (for about 4 servings)
- 2 cups tomato juice
- 1 celery rib, sliced into small pieces
- 1 lemon slice
- half red bell pepper, chopped into small pieces
- 2 sprigs fresh parseley
- 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 cup ice cubes
Preparation
- Blend all the ingredients together in a blender, except ice.
- When the mixture is smooth, add ice and blend until it is liquefied.
- Strain and serve.
Red Halloween Punch Recipe
This is one of the easiest non alcoholic drink recipes you will ever find. It is sweet, thirst-quenching and looks pretty darn bloody. This red punch is great not only for Halloween but for any occasion.
Ingredients (for about 20 servings)
- 48 oz. chilled cranberry juice cocktail
- 1 liter chilled ginger ale
- 1/2 cup chilled lime juice
- 2 cinnamon sticks (optional)
Preparation
Combine cranberry juice cocktail, ginger ale and lime juice together in a large punch bowl. Stir well. Float cinnamon sticks in the punch.

Watermelon-Strawberry Slush Recipe
Another non-alcoholic red sweet drink. It may take time to remove all the seeds from the watermelon, though it's totally worth it. I like to serve this drink in a martini or wine glass and garnish with a thin watermelon slice. Little mint leaves will also add a nice finishing touch to this cocktail.
Ingredients (for about 4 servings)
- 2 cups cubed watermelon, seeded
- 1 pint fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup lime or lemon juice
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups ice cubes
Preparation
- Combine watermelon, strawberries, sugar and lemon juice in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Add ice cubes, 1 cup at a time.
- Blend until the mixture looks slushy.
- Garnish with mint leaves, watemelon slice and/or strawberries.

Hot Tomato Juice Recipe
Like it hot? This hearty red drink is like a Bloody Mary in a non-alcoholic and more homey version. It may not be so refreshing compared to the other four cocktails, but that does not mean it is any less delicious!

- 46 oz. tomato juice
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
- Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan.
