Several years back, women used to have limited opportunities to be educated and didn't even have the right to vote. Being a wife and a mother seemed to be the only answer for most adult females. As for women nowadays, life contains endless opportunities and choices. There are a great number of women's rights groups that raise funds and offer support for women in all areas of living. Education is one of the main assets most women's organizations try to promote. Here's a list of scholarships for women. Some of these scholarships are available for only certain ethnic groups. Some may cover particular fields of study. And some are offered to students residing in specific areas.
